LFP New or Experienced for an ongoing Thursday 6pm MST [GMT -6] D&D Next [5e] game *Just starting new campaign*

We're just about to start a new campaign so now is a perfect time to join if you haven't played D&D before and want to start; or if you've played older editions before and want to see how 5e/NEXT plays. We'll need you to try and attend most if not all of our sessions, if you aren't able to commit to playing every thursday evening every week please don't apply. Please PM me if you're interested.

I'm the Dungeon Master for this campaign. We play 5e, fairly heavily modified with all the house-rules clearly pasted in the forum. If you dont have the books they can be provided. We use skype, and a mic is required. We play every Thursday and absence without valid excuse is unacceptable. Game time is 6:00pm MST, and I will often do extra solo-play for players before the game starts, often exploring their past or their spare time, so showing up early is rewarded. If you are new, you will find us friendly and accepting of players with an open mind and fresh perspective. If you are experienced, you will find my world challenging and open to manipulation. We try a mix of Battle, Roleplay, and puzzle solving, (Including a few Murder Mysterys), the occurrence of which vary depending on the situation and player actions. We're playing Tomorrow, starting on a new campaign i call "Fallcrest Journey: Iron Ascent." My friend and I are interested. We have no D&D Next experience but have played Pathfinder and D&D 3.5. We both like to play magic casters and stealthy characters, but we don't know much about the classes in D&D next.

We're debating to add two more players to the campaign for next session, and it is because of this that we ask those only those who have experience playing D&D previously to send their request, as it will make it easier for the story and the group as the team increases. I neglected to mention we currently have a Cleric(Healer), Paladin(Tank), Ranger(Archer), and Bard(Awesomeness). You can of course decide as playing an existing class, unless you wish to be different. So choose whatever class (that's in D&D Next) you'd like!

I'm a half orc barb. I'm interested.

You will start off at level three, 1k sliver to buy starting gear (armor, starting weapon, etc...), and the session would start at 4 PM PST, usually last for about 4 hours, give or take an hour. We are still looking for two spots to fill, but we have several request so we'll take our picks. So impress us. :D

Video was awesome to watch. To bad your current play time doesn't work out for me on weekdays due to me being in Japan 16 hours ahead of PST. If you ever start a Friday or Saturday session don't hesitate to contact me. I would join in a heartbeat and be a dedicated regular.

Hello, If you still have a spot open i'd love to join the campaign. I'm not too experienced with older versions of D&D, but i have already read the whole D&D Next manual (except for magic items and many high level spells though, since i look through those as needed). I am actually running a campaign of my own with some friends IRL following the Ghosts of Dragonspear Castle adventure as the DM every other saturday, and i love it so far! The time is perfect for me since it's a couple of hours after work and i have nothing else to do on thursdays. I'd like to go to the front lines with the Paladin as a Fighter . There should only be a few details left to add to my character, especially regarding equipment, but it should be ready very soon if you decide to invite me.
