Introduction to the campaign The world you live in, Sylvarant, has been decaying over time. More and
more, the hearts of the inhabitants are devoured by hatred and war.
Then, there are the Desians, an evil organization terrorizing humanity.
In order to stop this chaos, a person known as the "Chosen of Sylvarant"
must go on a journey to regenerate the world by awakening the Goddess
Martel. Many difficult trials await him though, so he wants to hire a
group of mercenaries. You can be one of them. The story is
heavily based off the game "Tales of Symphonia" but converted into a
format usable for an interesting D&D 3.5 setting. While it seems
kind of generic and boring, i promise you that this story can get quite
dark and edgy. This will be my first time DMing a group and i'm really
looking forward to it. Even if you don't know the Tales of-Series, you
still will have an easy time immersing into the world in my opinion. I
am looking for a motivated player, don't be afraid if you are
inexperienced as i am going to adapt the story and difficulty to the
experience of the final group. Since this is my first time DMing, i am
going to limit your character creation options and you need a fixed
backstory. More Infos will have to be discussed with me skype. What we look for Me and my 3 players look for a replacement for another guy who was pretty inactive. What we look for: A motivated and active player (most, most, MOST important) You can be a total newbie, would even be better cause many in this group are inexperienced and there are some more reasons i'd talk to you about in skype You may only use PHB1, so vanilla 3.5 (If you don't know a lot about 3.5, it basically simplifies the entire game but makes it more boring for experienced players. A player that enjoys a lot of fights and a combat-oriented but still mysterious plot. You should be available from 18.00-22.30 GMT+1 Thursday every week for a session. You don't need any experience at all, i can educate you in 3.5, but just make sure you REALLY REALLY want to invest the time into this.
