My name is Steven and I’ve been running tabletop rpg’s for
24 years. I love Star Trek and games that strongly emphasize role playing over
combat. My goal is every game is not only to collectively tell great stories
but to also make sure that all the players involved are equally having a good
time.
For this campaign I will be running all the Adventures in
the “These are the Voyages” book. Like the series, each adventure will be
episodic and will be an independent story from earlier episodes (though there
will be some recurring locations and characters.) In addition to 2 and a half
decades of gaming experience you also get a huge Star Trek fan in your game
master.
I love playing with people who are new the Star Trek or rpgs
in general. Absolutely no experience is needed. It is a joy for me to introduce
new players to this hobby that has been such a big part of my life.
Game highlights

Set during the TNG era ·
Players will collectively design and modify the
ship for the campaign. ·
Players will take on the roll of various
department heads on the ship. ·
The captain of the ship will be an NPC who fades
into the background after delivering some exposition at the start of each
adventure. ·
I am asking $12 per session of 4-5 hours. But your
first session will be free so that you can decide if this game is a good feel
for you risk free! ·
Each adventure could take several sessions to
complete.
It is important to note that the Captain is not a playable
character. I’ve run many Star Trek games in the past 20 years and I find that
this works best. The Captain of the ship will deliver the adventure briefing
and will come up from time to time when needed. But for the most part, the
captain fades into the back ground and it is just assumed that she is
approving/going along with all the ideas the players make.
