GM FOR HIRE! FIRST SESSION FREE! The Full Mutant Chronicles 3rd edition Dark Symmetry Campaign. Hello! My name is Steven and I’ve been running games regularly for 24 years. Mutant Chronicles is one of my favorite games of all time and I’m looking for 4 players to run the entire Dark Symmetry campaign from Modiphius. What is Mutant Chronicles? I’m a huge fan of Sci-fi/Horror and the Dark Symmetry Era very much embodies that genre. While the later eras of Mutant Chronicles have a bit more of an action movie feel, the Dark Symmetry Era captures a feeling closer to the movie Event Horizon or John Carpenter’s The Thing. In the early days of this era, humanity doesn’t fully understand what’s going on. Corrupted technology and horrible monsters from beyond are still very new, and incredibly terrifying. At the start of the campaign the player characters will have no idea what is coming or how terribly the solar system will be changed forever. The Dark Legion is unknown and Dark Symmetry is just beginning to manifest in advanced technologies and the fragile minds of the insane. About the Game • The game will be weekly, on Thursdays, at 8:30pm. • I will be ready to start as early as the 27th of June • The first session will be free and use pre-generated characters. • I will usually be on a little early • The game will cover the entire 218 page Dark Symmetry Campaign for Mutant Chronicles 3rd Edition. • I am asking $15 per player, per game lasting 4 to 5 hours. • If you would like, you may pay for 5 games in advance at a price of $10 per game. About the GM • I have been running tabletop rpg’s for 24 years starting in the good ol days of AD&D. • I enjoy dark and brutal games. Though, exactly how brutal and how likely PC deaths are is left up to player preferences. • I am 36 years old and prefer to play with adult players (at least 18 is fine) • Its very important to me that everyone at the table is having fun. I don’t use GM tricks or plot devices to solve real problems, I prefer to talk to the players out of game. For example, when player conflict gets out of hand or if someone just isn’t enjoying the tone of a game. • As the GM I will commit to making to the game just as I would for a job • If I do need to miss a Thursday, players will receive as much notice as possible and I am open to moving the game to another day on certain weeks when needed. Notes About This Game • Character conflict can be great for the game if its good for the plot and consensual between players. I absolutely will not tolerate one player using their character to harass another player just because. • This game will contain lots of graphic depictions of violence, very dark themes, and a healthy but theme appropriate amount of potty mouth. I know the notes above sound heavy but I’m actually a very light hearted GM and you can expect lots of comedy mixed into the dark themes of Mutant Chronicles. I am happy to answer any questions.
