Showing the "player" name?

We don't use character sheets, we only use r20 for visual map and dice. Our display names are our character names, so I am GM, and we have Zeekan, Goldrich, and Colbie. We have some working macros for dice, but I'd like to say Zeekan rolls a melee attack... Zeekan being the display name of the person.  For example: &{template:default} {{name=?? makes a melee attack}} ...
Try this example, you can edit the details to match your attack. /em is the command to emote, and it will start the emote with the display name of the player who uses the macro. /em makes a melee attack. &{template:default} {{name=Short Sword}} {{+3 attack vs AC=[[1d20+3]]}} {{on hit[[1d6+3]] Piercing}} Here's the output:
