GROUP LOOKING FOR A DM

Hello everyone! Me and 5 to 6 friends need someone who would be willing to DM D&D 5e for our group. We are all 18+ and most of us are noobs, we hope that doesnt discourage any applicants. Most of us are very into roleplay and care heavily about that aspect of the game, but the combat is exciting and we feel integral to the RP as a whole so we would like a fairly balanced DM that leaned more towards RP.  We have a discord that we would like to speak to applicants on before we ultimately decide. These items might get more responses.  I didnt specify days and times because our group is pretty flexible and would want anyone who DMs for us to be as well, but most of us are in EST timezone. We weren't really trying to pay to play D&D and more want someone who just wants to DM and has the material already or has a homebrew campaign they want to use. If that's rare we were not aware that was the case.

Heyo! I would be interested in Dming for you all. If it sounds good I can run a one shot for the group to see my style of DMIng and so I can see the group play style. Question, would a module campaign be ok to start with or you all would prefer an open world kind of setting?
