Hello all, my name is Kris, Im posting on behalf of my friend who is looking for a couple more players to join our game that will be starting July 16th. We usually start around 7pm est and get done around 10:30-11pm depending, but the way it works is that you can be booked earlier or later in the card if needed to help work around schedules. Now to the game itself: First off, we use the WWWRPG system created by Nathan Paoletta which you may have seen played lately by a few wrestlers on twitter (cant remember who it was at the moment). For the game we stick pretty close to the book, but have added in some homebrew elements to make the game a bit more entertaining, generally we interact in a more pve manner than pvp though, it isn't all about titles, the good matches are all about the story, and we try to accomplish that. Our universe is massive, and always growing, you may be wrestling in one federation, but there will be constant information being given out about whats going on with the other ones while youre playing to help keep the world immersive. We've created hundreds of wrestlers to fill out the various rosters, given them all backgrounds and detailed information for players to browse, and even given information on each federation, how they have formed, and where they are headed. We like to give out bookers notes for each show so people can feel like theyre actually at a real organization and not just playing a game, they will have little details about what they bookers would like to see, but nothing that causes the game to be harder, think 2k wrestling games where you need to do certain objectives to make the gm happy. Cards are up before every show, in our discord there are multiple channels for roleplay, texts and dms from personnel to management, social media channel which serves as a fake twitter, even world news that helps keep the world revolving, we've taken our time in building a place for people to come and be immersed while also having a friendly environment to converse and have fun. We have very little requirements, one being a mic so you can talk to us on discord for your matches and such, we'd also like you to have some knowledge of wrestling and how it works, though personally I havent watched since the late 90s, so it's not like you need to be up to date, just how a match works basically. The last requirement is an open mind, we're trying to make this game into more than just showing up, doing your match and leaving, the booklet itself doesnt allow for that, so please remember that we do homebrew some things, but they are never meant to work against the player, its always to help them feel more involved and useful, while also keeping in some realism.
