[LFP][D&D 5e][Paid] Saltmarsh / 8pm Wednesdays EST

Hello Roll20, I'm Matt, a fun loving DM who's looking for some adventurers to take on iconic and exciting adventures. I've been running for all sorts of wonderful people here in the Roll20 community, and this time, we are opening a brand new game of Ghosts of Saltmarsh to take place Wednesday evenings (8pm Eastern). We're on our second adventure and will be starting at level 3 ! This is a great opportunity for first time players, and those who haven't played a seafaring campaign before! We have three amazing adventurers and are looking for up to two more players max. Sessions should be about 4 hours, with a few breaks in the middle. It should be a fun ride! With a lot of supplemental content, extra resources and a lot of experience running the setting, it's bound to be an adventure very different from your usual table. I've a lot of experience running premium games, and am pretty conscious about what people expect from them. The first game is free, come see if you like it! This campaign is very new player friendly! As it start's at level 1, it offers a lot of room for newer players to the game to learn. By the end of the first adventure, even as a brand new player, you should be comfortable with the game and its systems. If you're a veteran but have never played a written campaign before, it has a lot to offer - hopefully with you joining us. The games all feature the full weight of a Roll20 Pro subscription (custom sheets, API scripts, great dynamic lighting effects, sound and music if that's your thing too), and all the experience of a GM with thousands of hours running games for the community. I've also purchased every official publication to use, along with several from reputable publishers such as Kobold Press' material, and supplements that definitely add to each of the different adventures in their own way. Matt is a great GM, definitely worth the money that he charges. The roll20 experience is professional; dynamic lighting, music, maps, all the good stuff. His DMing is top-notch, giving time for spotlight, keeps the game moving, keeps the game interesting, even when we were just fighting spiders at level 1. He clearly knows the mechanics of the game, I don't think he has ever stopped once needing to check a rule. I also don't think he has ever said no to anything that we want to do. He's great at being adaptable but also keeping the game on track and on pace. Not a week has gone by that has been boring or predictable, even with player deaths and such. Matt's an awesome GM, our players are mature and cooperative, we just need some more help so we don't get wrecked in the upcoming encounters...

Tarvis could not have put it in better words.  This has been an absolute blast.  A fun & challenging campaign for us as the players that feels rewarding.  The games flow fast and it always seems like we are turning the corner to another cool adventure.  Perfect time to join up as we start the next story arc!
