Special FX not showing to players

Hello,  Very new to Roll20. We are using the service on a screen at a table. I have the GM account running in Chrome, and the player account running in Firefox. When I drag a special FX across the GM page it illustrates, however it is not visible on the player map. I just know it's something super simple I am missing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. JW

Not sure what the issue might be, but try running the player account in a private browsing window in Chrome and leave Firefox closed. If the browser is the issue, that should help narrow down the possibilities.

Thanks I'll give that a try. Next question, am I supposed to be dragging the FX across the map layer or the GM layer? O_O

Look at as saving the next reader of this thread from displaying their awesome ignorance. I did that enough when I was starting.
