Hello. My name is Wil (with one “L”, like Wheaton). I’m 23, and I’ve been gaming for the past eight years or so, and I’ve been in all different kinds of games: World of Darkness, Pathfinder, 4e, 5e, Marvel Universe Roleplaying Game, etc. I can talk more about the games I’ve played; but right now I’m currently looking for a game that my cousin and I can jump into. My cousin has never played any sort of TTRPG, and he knew that I’m super into D&D, so he asked if I could find a group for us to play in together. I am specifically looking for a short or long term 5e game to join. My cousin is thirteen and he’s a mature kid, though between him being inexperienced and so young I understand that it may turn away some people. Still... He really wants to learn how to play D&D. Since I’m looking to be in this game with him, I can help guide him through how the game works, though a patient GM would be ideal so that he doesn’t feel rushed while trying to learn. The other half is having a group that we can roleplay with. I’m big on RP down to making stories and voices for my characters. I think it’d be good if we had a group that also isn’t too shy and would encourage RP for my cousin’s sake. I have found that playing with people who are really into the game make it more enjoyable for others. Ultimately, because of my job, it’d be best for the game to be on Tuesday or Sunday after 6pm CST. We can see if another day/time would work though, so we’ll be as flexible as possible. I just wanna make sure my cousin gets a chance to learn how to play and maybe get some good adventures out of it.
