Not being able to drop compendium items into character sheets

I am not ably to drop compendium items into my players sheets. If I make a new character sheet I am able to drop it into the new one. Most of these sheets were made using the charactermancer.   I have followed the troubleshooting steps I have tried on Chrome , Firebox and Edge. Can you verify that the character sheets aren't popped out ?  Mentioning this since drag/drop doesn't work for sheets that are popped out into their own window.

You also might want to specify the game system and character sheet.  I know there can be some oddities with spells in Pathfinder (just how it is implemented) , but that is the only one I am very familiar with.

They are not popped out and its the normal 5e sheet

It still does it with all my extensions disabled. I did learn something else. all of the sheet that i cannot add items to were charactermancer sheets , two players had to make new characters last night. One use charactermancer the other did not the one that user charactermancer i cannot add items to the other one i can . These new characters are Ubo (doesnt let me add items to it ) and rook (lets me add items to it)
