Freehand lines do not show up until mouse button has been released

As it says in the title - recently, I don't know when exactly, whenever I use the freehand tool, I cannot see what I'm drawing until I let go of mouse 1. This is making freehand drawing quite difficult. I would love a fix for this. The problem persists between browsers. 

Hello Daniel A, I am sorry to hear that you have encountered this issue. Please note that the devs are aware of this and are working to resolve it. However, there is currently no timeline for a resolution. I have moved your report to the  Freehand Draw no longer shows preview when drawing  thread. As such, please follow that thread for updates.
