Promoted-GM can't promote others (and thus ends a game)?

I'm in a GM-less game (Fiasco) where the original author created some really useful API scripts. The author eventually left but not before promoting everyone to GM so that we could continue playing without them. However, I now find that I as (promoted)GM can't promote anyone else to GM, locking new players out of needed tools (like adding sheets or inviting others). Am I just unable to see how to promote others (hovering over their pic only gives 'kick player' but doesn't include 'promote player'), or is this not possible? If it's impossible, why?

You are correct that only the creator of a game has that privilege. If the original creator is still available, you might be able to contact <a href="mailto:team@roll20.net" rel="nofollow">team@roll20.net</a> and see if ownership can be transferred. It would absolutely require the original owner to consent, and there may be other variables I don't know about, but it's worth a try. Note that if you want to continue using the API scripts, the new owner would need to be a Pro subscriber.

Only the Game Creator may Promote players to GM status.&nbsp; It is possible the Devs can do something for you, but this is best handled via email, <a href="mailto:team@roll20.net" rel="nofollow">team@roll20.net</a> . Edit:&nbsp; Heh, Keith and I think alike ^_^
Thank you for the replies.
