[LFDM][5E] Group of Army Veterans looking for a DM to run a game. Other players also needed.

Me and a pair of my Army friends are looking to play a campaign together, but none of us have the time to run a DnD campaign or enough fellows to make a full group plus DM. We need a DM to run any adventure they see fit, be it a published or homebrew adventure. We are very invested in RP and would possibly want to build characters that know each other, and simply need someone with a willingness to run the game for a bunch of vets.  As stated above, there are only 3 of us, so if anyone wants to simply join as another player to round a party of 4 or 5, that would also be good. Or if a DM wants to bring in one of their friends so its not just you with a bunch of us strangers, that would be great too.  I personally have a lot of experince with 5E DnD, though both of them are relatively knew with just a few sessions under their belts. We are hoping to begin a long term campaign, and if you go homebrew for the setting, we would prefer a more classical fantasy setting, but are willing to roll with the punches, as we really just want to get to play.

I am a working dad so I have limited time but I have been thinking of running a game. I am Pacific time and evening or weekends work best. Probably an evening time. Steven, Thanks for your interest! We would love a good LMoP run, though tbh we are hoping to run characters up a bit higher than 5th level! perhaps use LMoP as a starting off point and keep it going? We're workin on mountain time and were thinking possibly 7PM-ish on Thursdays or Sundays. which I believe is 6PM for you. Either day should work. We can be slightly flexible on start time but cant push to far into the evenings for end times. Let me know what you think. 

You guys are certainly candidates for Twilight 2000, post apocalyptic modern combat role playing in Europe at the end of World War 3, with the collapse of governments and society in general.  Think mad max with Javelins.  The game was created in 2000 but a fanatic has kept the weapons current, ALL of them for ALL nationalities, not just guns, but vehicles.  

I'd be interested in joining ye as a player if possible i'm Irish so will be pretty late my time but I think I could make it work, do you guys use discord?

Victor, thanks for the suggestion, I will definitely keep that in mind for a future campaign idea, but we are looking more for Classic Fantasy setting this time around.  Ronan, we would love to see about bringing you in if you can make the time we decide on work. 

No worries, I've also got a former tanker (yes CDAT) from Iraq and a few others.  So plenty of players.  Let me know. It's definitely a different type of campaign.
