Try out Pro account?

I'm a plus member, but I want to try out the Pro version. Is there a way to do that without messing up my current subscription?

The only "messing up" that might occur is if you take advantage of the increased storage and go beyond what a Plus account can handle. I've been Pro for years and am still well under the Plus limit, due to careful asset management, so that might not be an issue. Nothing else should change for you, and if you decide to revert to Plus, all assets, features and games should be as they were. If you exceed your Plus storage quota, even that stuff will all still be there and available. You just won't be able to add anything new until you delete enough to bring you back to under your limit. As an aside, I suspect you won't want to switch back. The API is very seductive...

If you are paying month by month, just bump yourself up and it will upgrade (do this near the end/beginning of your subscription) your account. Try it for a month and drop back down to the previous level before the end of the month. The account should stay at the level of current sub till the end of the subscription. Keithcurtis covers the difference between the two level. Pro is great for additional storage, API, Custom sheets, and Transmogrifier but if you run only one game and it doesn't use a custom sheet or use lots of graphic assets, you might not find the pro to be very worthwhile. I use the api for my games but only in a limited manner (welcome package is wonderful) and the Transmogrifier is a godsend for moving my prep work from my workspace game to an actual game as it let me do most of my prep work without worrying about anyone seeing it by accident till I'm ready.

I’ve been a Pro subscriber for 4 years just for API & Transmogrifier. I’m a 13th Age GM so I don’t need Dynamic Lighting.
