Macro to add Initiative without token

It's a continuing annoyance players forgetting to click their tokens before rolling Initiative, and even more annoying to have to wait for the GM to have to add them manually in games without tokens. We need a simple macro that will just add player initiative to the turn order.
Seconded.

Just a reminder:  It doesn't matter how many people post to a thread in support, what matters is how many votes a suggestion gets, and at the time I write this only one person (the OP) has voted in support of this suggestion.
You can write a macro to roll initiative from a sheet and it can roll and report the result in chat. If you're talking about initiative adding to the Turn Tracker, that would be unlikely. The Turn Tracker is tied to tokens, not sheets. If it was the other way around, GMs would need a sheet for every mook and opponent on the board, which would weigh down games.

I mean I would like a macro that adds initiative to the Turn Tracker without sheets or tokens.
I would rephrase as “want a macro to add a custom turn order item automatically with parameters for its name and value”, to use the terminology of the existing feature you are referencing when talking about games with no tokens. And I think there are one or more custom API scripts that do this, but of course that only helps Pro subscribers.
