Exactly as the title says! I'm a new DM playing with a couple of friends. We've all got a few sessions under our belts as players, and are very excited for Pathfinder 2.0 coming out. We're primarily looking for easy-going people interested in having a good time learning the new edition with us. The game is still a few weeks out, so I've been preparing by making a custom world map for the players to enjoy. It's taking some time to craft as it's extra thicc with two c's to make sure you guys have enough space to get lost in it! This will come with custom lore for every civilization, new gods, new everything. I will warn that the players can be thirsty for blood and power, so evil/darker campaigns may be the norm, and that does open potential for pvp, but I'm not going to confine you to playing something you don't want to. All moralities allowed, I'm more than happy to let the players do what they want, because at it's heart, I feel that's the point of the game. You want to be a renowned adventurer? Go for it. You want to open a tavern? Get to it. You want to topple a sitting government and replace its soldiers with gold-plated undead, introducing your dark religion, and brainwashing the populace into seeing the benevolence your kingdom of undeath? DO IT And just to make sure it's clear, even if some degree of murder hobo'ing takes place, we're all pleasant guys out of character so don't worry about leaping into a group of psychopaths. I promise we're basically normal! Sort of. But anyway, there will be no meta gaming of course, no taking IC actions OOC, everyone is an adult, if someone dies, roll a new character and start again! Or desperately make deals to safeguard your characters life. I'm making this sound very cut throat. You could all decide to play lawful good characters and none of this would come to pass. In my long, rambling way, just consider this a group where you're open to do whatever it is you please! We're here to have a good time above all else, and make some new friends! We have a Discord for hanging out, we're in there just about every day, so I hope to hear from you soon! :) ((Edit)) Just to reiterate, Pathfinder 2.0 hasn't officially released yet. I don't have the rulebook, but it's coming out on August 1st so it will be soon! The world I'm making is a custom one I've been putting together in Wonderdraft.
