Storage Space

I keep deleting things from my games like music and pictures, and it doesnt remove the data i've already put on roll20, thus not letting me import more assets.  Really frustrating, I feel like moving to another ttg site, yeah I'm a free member, but that does not solve the problem, the data will keep stacking up without actually deleting from roll20. How can we fix this??

Are you following the instructions on freeing up Storage Space ? To delete art assets, you can right click on an image in the Recent Uploads list and choose Delete Item. This will permanently remove that art asset from My Library and any game that is currently using it. With that in mind, you will want to make certain that the images you are deleting are not necessary for current game content you're actively playing with. If you double click on an art asset, it will open your art library where you can bulk delete (up to around 15 or so items).
Yes, I did that and it didn't work.
My alternative is to make a new account and promote to GM...

RJ said: Yes, I did that and it didn't work. When you say "it didn't work" do you mean that the asset is not disappearing from the game, or that your storage amount is not decreasing?
The asset is gone from the game, the storage amount did not decrease.

Without access to your art library, I can only offer guesses. It may require a dev to come in and see what's going on. The biggest items are usually audio files. Make sure you are removing them from My Audio, and not just their instance in your game. Try it with those you know to be the largest files. Beyond that, assuming you are following the directions carefully, if you still see no decrease, it will likely require someone with dev access to figure this out. Normally, the steps you are taking will decrease storage space. If they aren't, yeah, there's something wrong.
My audio, where do I find that, I am a retard?

To delete audio while in My Audio, click to edit (just click on the name). A trash can should appear. My Audio is like the Library for Audio. Putting an audio track in your game is like placing it on the VTT. To really get rid of it, you must delete it at the source. As for the pictures, I understood that the pictures were being deleted, but the storage space wasn't decreasing?

Ahhh ty ty, this solves most of my problem, most appreciated. Yes I deleted the pictures from all those many pictures that I can see that I've uploaded, and the space wasn't getting deleted, is there some other hidden way to delete them like the audio?

Are you deleting the ones listed under "recent uploads"?  Those are the actual original uploads that need deleted I believe.
Yes, I was, I was deleting all instances of the pictures I no longer wanted on roll20.

Are the images you are deleting over a megabyte in size? You won't see a difference in the report, otherwise. If you are following the instructions given by Pat in the second post, it should just work. If you want to pursue this, can you carefully describe the steps you are using to delete picture assets? There may be something you are overlooking.
