How can I force white space or other formatting into a {{Notes=}} field with html?

I'm using the {{Notes=}} field for spell descriptions and would like to insert white space.  I'm seeing several notes that the interpreter removes white space by default, though I found that you could insert "Enter" keys and get it to put the space in. However, I'm developing the spell book in Excel and copy and pasting the rows over causes these to get wrapped in quotes and they all have to be removed manually.  Is there some way to get the chat to not just delete a
 ?

You can enter multiline content in an Excel cell; just hit ctrl-enter (if I remember correctly).
Right.  It's <Alt>+<enter> in Excel, but that isn't my question.  I know how to insert all kinds of things in Excel where I'm building my macros. My question is, what can put in that Roll20 won't just drop as white space other than fixed carriage returns as then I have to manually hunt through the pasted macro to remove the " symbols that Excel adds to multi-line cells.  I'd been very hopeful there was a some html that wouldn't get ignored but I haven't found it yet.  Hence my question.

Have you tried
?  nope, it is also ignored. Well, best I can offer is a workaround to make getting rid of the quotes easier. U se this pattern replacement on regexr .
