I’ve been playing 5e for about 9 months or so, coming from Pathfinder for about a year before that. Almost all of my gaming comes from playing Adventurer’s League at my FLGS, or the DMing I’ve started in the past couple of months for my wife and a group of her friends. I’d like to get into a longer term campaign as a player. AL is great, but I’d like try more deep-character role playing with a consistent group in a longer-term campaign. Never really gotten to do that before. I work a 9-5 type job, so I’d like to play on Monday, Tuesday or Thursday nights. Wednesdays are for AL, and weekends are for real life. I’ve never played online before, so I’m open to any system to run the sessions. I’ve got a few character concepts in mind and I’d be open to being flexible in choosing one that works best with the group. I prefer a loose, fun group that wants to role play at least as much as they want to kick ass. I actually prefer playing with newer players, because I find they can bring a fresher perspective and enthusiasm to the games. Oh, a little about me... I’m a 40 year old male, married, no kids, just a lot of pets. I work in the tech industry. I tend to be pretty easy-going, like to joke around and keep things light and fun. I lean to the left... which unfortunately seems to be an important thing to have to mention these days. If you’ve got a group that could use a new player, please send me a PM or just post here and we can discuss things.
