Can you hide the formula, but not the result of dice roll with a macro or otherwise?

I’d like to have my macros not reveal the formula to avoid players meta gaming the rolls. (Wow he can 8d14 damage, time to cast a spell to deal with it) Any ideas?
You can use /gmroll to hide the whole roll and then just tell them how much damage they take.
Yes, I know that. I just wanted it to be in the log and a little faster
I would like to be able to hide the formula and the dice and just GET THE RESULT!! but only as a GM heheheh
If you're using a macro you can do something like: (Set yourself as BigBaddy) /me starts casting a spell to wallop the silly PC's /gmroll 8d10  And then tell them what happens manually. What would be nice tho, is to be able to set an Ability in a character sheet to the result of the roll so that you could do this: /me starts casting a spell to wallop the silly PC's /gmroll 8d10 == @Damage /me does @Damage to all the silly PC's That way the roll is hidden, but you announce the resulting number.
