I am trying to start up a Dungeon World campaign. This is a game I’ve known about for ages but have barely had the opportunity to play. So I’m looking for a group. You don’t need to know the game although it’s got a similar vibe to D&D without being anywhere near as rules heavy. I’ve put a post out on the looking for players section of roll 20 but thought I’d also post here as many people won’t search for Dungeon World. I plan to play Monday night USA time. I’m in Australia so it’s actually my Tuesday morning. The general idea for my game is to start off as a dungeon crawl type game but as the game progresses learn more about the world and the communities that inhabit it and build a larger story as we go. I won’t railroad the party, you guys will have the reins, my job will be to make the world vibrant, exciting, dangerous and hopefully compelling. Im an old school fantasy guy so my plan is for the setting to be fairly low tech level, use well known fantasy races and monsters although as we go I’m sure all plans will evolve. I am very flexible for new ideas but also believe we should all start on the same page. For now no black powder or steam engines. I hope to to get some interest.
