I've recently rediscovered Freesound.org, and the selection, and general quality, of the sounds in it's ever-growing catalog are vastly superior to Soundcloud. I mean, just do a search for "monster" and you'll get 20x the number of options. It would be great to have a drop-down menu at the top of the playlist area in Roll20 where one could choose a source for audio files. The Freesound sounds for the most part work under similar attribution and creative commons licenses — and a link back to the source of Freesound (just as you currently do with Soundcloud) should take care of any issues.
Alternatively, I'd like to be able to access my own private playlists on Soundcloud. I have a pretty large library of sounds that I've purchased on DriveThruRPG that I can't use because I can't upload them to the public Souncloud area for fear of copyright violations. But if they were on my private playlists, I wouldn't be in violation (I think).and could actually use those sounds.
The ultimate would be to be able to stream sounds from my computer, but I guess that's just crazy-talk...
Keep up the good work!
