Would it be easy to include 1d100 on the automatic dice roll menu?

Hey Paul,

Is there a particular reason you need it there? It'd be pretty simple to create a macro that rolled a d100 and put it on your macro bar. It's not exactly the same thing but accomplishes the "easy 1 click" part of it. So I'm wondering if there's more reason to you wanting it on the quick dice menu.

If you just aren't sure how to make a macro and put it on the macro bar check out this part of the wiki: https://wiki.roll20.net/Macros#Macro_Bar

The menu has all the other forms of dice, I just wondered why such a commonly used one was missed out. (Speaking as a Call of Cthulhu player!)

If you are playing around a table IRL, the solution to this is to roll 2d10 using the die rolls as each digit.

This sounds like a great idea! I'm not sure why they haven't bothered to do it yet.

Perhaps because of 3D dice?  a d100 is practically a ball and rolls foooooreeeeever (and usually off the table...speaking from experience—after a couple rolls, it went back into my dice bag, never to be seen again).

But perhaps they could include it and if 3d dice are used, just throw the 2d10 like normal?

When you use 3d dice, it does just roll 2d10.

Edit: And after seeing a d100 used in person, I have to agree rolling a golf ball and reading the top pip is kind of a pain.

I think it's quite obvious we mean to see it roll percentile dice with a single click by having one d10 marked as the 10's like in every dice set out there. No one is asking for a literal 100 sided dice to be rolled.

Ed S., you're right, the percentile part was obvious, not the d10 part—at least not to me (I have been called idiot a time or two, though...). You'll note I even mentioned it as an option in my solution (albeit not specifying the 10's and 1's die).

Yes, I meant 2d10 with different colours, or having one of those d10s with 10, 20,30... on and the other with 1,2,3...

I apologize if I came off as harsh, but there tends to be common in this forum for people to crap on newer peoples suggestions, it's not real inviting and I tire of it.

I use the 3d10 option when a character rolls with a bonus or penalty dice. We read it by the way it comes up in the chat area, the first two being either choice for the 10's dice and the last always being the units.

It's a few extra clicks, but if you want to roll a 1d100 from the dice menu, you can do it from the Advanced Dice Roller.  I find it faster to just type /roll 1d100 but if you need a mouse click method it's there in the meantime.  You can either click Adv Dice Roller at the bottom of the floating window that pops up when you hover over the dice icon or just click the dice icon and it pops up immediately.

If you use 3D dice, it rolls 1 percentile D10 and 1 regular D10.  I doubt it would be hard to add to the floating pop-up menu since all the mechanics are already programmed.
