Hey all, Summary:  I'm an experienced roleplayer, looking for a game in any/all time slots available that plans on running for a long while with a heavy focus on roleplaying. I'm easy to get along with, not shy and dedicated to bringing my character to life. I'm familiar with Roll20, Pathfinder and 5e. Availability (Times in PST): Monday  - 1 PM - 2 AM Tuesday  - Unavailable Wednesday  - Unavailable Thursday  - Unavailable Friday  - 1 PM - 2 AM Saturday  - 5 PM - 2 AM (Might be Available all day if you have an appealing campaign) Sunday  - All Day Strengths: Each of my characters are in depth, and unique with a heavy focus on backstory and room to evolve in multiple ways. I put forth an exuberant amount time and energy into each one to bring them to life in game. I am over 30 years old and have been playing Dungeons and Dragons most of my life. I have a working mic without any ambient noise. I am extremely punctual. I've never missed a day nor am I ever late in the decades I've been playing. I can get along with most people and have a very laid back, "go with the flow" attitude. I think quickly and I'm able to respond in quick real time responses when put on the spot, adding immersion to the scenario. I enjoy all aspects of the game, including combat, which I also roleplay in, making me a good fit to any type of roleplay focused campaign. I don't try to make my character the main hero of the story. Can play any role to fill balance gaps, or play in unbalanced parties. I'm fine playing with new people as long as they put in the effort. I'm familiar with and happy to play Pathfinder or 5e. Weaknesses: I don't enjoy it when people get drunk or high during sessions. I don't enjoy sessions where someone has a heavy accent that I can barely understand or a mic that requires me to ask, "What" repeatedly. Punctuality is a pet peeve of mine, I like to start sessions on time. I do not enjoy scenarios with heavy emphasis on homosexuality, anime themes, stories based off of popular pulp culture references. I am friendly to LGBT, I just don't want it to be a common theme in the game. I don't enjoy being around power gamers. I don't enjoy campaigns where males play females, or females play males unless they can do an appropriate voice. It breaks immersion too much. I require battlemaps, whether hand drawn or not, just something to see so I'll have to decline any imagination only games. I hate joke characters, like "My character wants to eat every mushroom in the world." or things along those lines that are only humorous for one session. I will not create a character as an application process. I put a lot of work into each character and tailor them to fit your world, doing so as an application feels hollow and rushed, but I don't mind altering them to the DM's suggestions once a character has been created. About Me: Thanks for reading this far. I am over thirty years old. I've been playing D&D most of my life. I've DM'd and been a player. Not too long ago my campaigns ended and I opt'd to take a break from D&D for a while. Now I'm looking to return. I'm a very laid back player and I'll put everything about myself out there, so you know exactly what you're getting. I like to put 110% into each of my characters, some of my backstories can get rather long. I think they average between 6-8 pages, with the shortest being two and the longest being 20 depending on my excitement with the idea and the level we start at. Naturally the higher level we are, the more backstory is needed to justify said level. Each and every character I've created has been unique and I never have nor ever will reuse an old idea. If playing in a homebrew campaign I try and make them fit into the world the DM has created. I can get along with most people, a few exceptions would be those who like to get high or drunk or power gamers. I'm not the type that wants to win at D&D, I want to experience it. I'm not a shy person. I'll answer any question someone asks me. I'll use voice and attempt a unique voice for my character on Session 1. I think quickly and react quickly. I also don't try and hog the spotlight, I'll do my best to get those who may be shy to speak up and volunteer until they are more comfortable doing so. Outside of D&D I am a stereotypical nerd. I enjoy video games, anime, movies, Netflix, and fantasy things. I spend more time immersing myself in a fantasy world than I do in reality. Currently I'm playing Final Fantasy XIV, but that may end soonish, as I've run out of content to do in that game. I prefer one on one relationships over big groups and I'm a very personal person, liking to get to know each individual. What I'm Looking For: I'm fairly easy going in this department. My only requirement is a fantasy world. It can be a module or a homebrew world. I haven't played many modules, but even if I have I won't spoil anything for those who haven't and can immerse myself in my character only making decisions they would. I'd prefer a group whose also a group of friends looking to add another, using D&D as a medium to make friends, but I'm also fine with just playing D&D. I'd like the group to meet at a minimum of once a week, so no bi-weekly games please, for a minimum of 3 hours with a preference for 4+. I'd prefer to start at level 3-5, but not a huge deal if not the case. Level 1 and 2 are usually just very boring and limiting in terms of backstory. If you feel I'd be a good fit to your group and you read all of that, send me a  PM . Tell me a bit about yourself, your group, the campaign and include your discord name in the message. I'll send you a friend request if I'm interested and we can chat! Thanks for reading!
