You really should add at least your timezone and a rough expectation of a timeframe.  Character was written for a different setting, I'd either simply import Pelor or replace him, probably with Kelemvor, who would work similarly well with the idea of smiting undead and necromancer.  1) Character name: Rhandar 2) Race/class: (variant) Human Paladin (Oath of Vengeance) 3) Background (custom is ok! Please explain what is unique and why you chose it) Acolyte of Pelor/Kelemvor. Seperated from Parents by evil Necromancer, saved by Paladins of Pelor, taken in as Novice and trained.  4) Have you ever played lost mines before? Nope 5) What does this character hate? (can be an action taken by another person, can be a religion or anything recently): undead and necromancer.  6) What would this character protect at all costs? His Order. On the other hand, if the question is, what would he destroy at all costs, the above mentioned evil Necromancer, or necromancer in general 7) What faith does this character follow (if any) and why? Pelor/Kelemvor, see under Background 8) What is this character's worst fear? Dying to a Necromancer and having his body and Soul deaecrated.  9) Does this character consider themselves a:  leader/follower/observer/puzzle solver/lore monger? Observer 10) Pick a dungeons and dragons elemental type that suits this character (and explain why) Fire - not only does he bring burning vengeance to those that desecrate graves and corpses but he can be brash and reckless. Edit: due to an eight hour difference in our times, I'm afraid I'll have to pass. Best wishes for your game

Hi there, I'm a new player (have played DnD in the past with a few friends but nothing recent, and never dabbled in online). I'm 24 years old, and am from British Columbia, Canada. My time zone is PST, so there should be no problems with coordinating between Mountain time. 1) Character name: Kel'dor Thunderflagon 2) Race/class: Dwarf Warrior 3) Background (custom is ok! Please explain what is unique and why you chose it): Hailing from the Underdark, Clan Thunderflagon was renowned for their prowess in battle, helping their people beat back the dreaded Drow on many occasions. Kel'dor and his father, Thandril, fought together in the Battle for Mithril Hall, but Kel'dor was unfortunately helpless to save Thandril during the Drow onslaught. Many years later, Kel'dor was exiled from the Thunderflagon ancestral home, for reasons he keeps close to his heart. He vows that one day he will return, and reclaim his lost wife, Nisrin. 4) Have you ever played lost mines before? I have not. 5) What does this character hate? (can be an action taken by another person, can be a religion or anything recently): Kel'dor hates those who forsake their oaths or promises, and despises liars. 6) What would this character protect at all costs? Kel'dor would lay down his life for his clan and those rare few outside of Thunderflagon that are bestowed his Blood-Bond. 7) What faith does this character follow (if any) and why? Kel'dor and his people follow Hanseath, The Festive One. Despite being warriors first and foremost, Clan Thunderflagon are known throughout the Underdark for their skill in brewing Gutbuster, albeit many of their number had not the fortitude to drink it themselves. Nevertheless, the first of Clan Thunderflagon felt this skill had been bestowed upon them by Hanseath, and they have given thanks to him for centuries. In recent times, Kel'dor has called upon Hanseath's more wandering nature. 8) What is this character's worst fear? Being never able to redeem himself and return to his homeland. 9) Does this character consider themselves a:  leader/follower/observer/puzzle solver/lore monger? Kel'dor considers himself an observer, though when conflict arises he is never afraid to fall in line behind a strong and good-natured leader who can direct his concealed rage. 10) Pick a dungeons and dragons elemental type that suits this character (and explain why): Kel'dor embodies earth. Like most dwarves, Kel'dor is a stout and stoic warrior, unwavering in his conviction to chosen causes. His word is stone, and his bond is iron, though it is well known amongst those who knew him when he was still in Thunder Hall that he melts in the arms of his wife.
Hello! My name is Ethan,  I would be playing a Halfling Wizard with the guild artisan background. I believe the campaign hook is a call for aid from the party's dwarf friend (I forget his name sorry!) so my character would be joining the adventure as the dwarve's friend. His other motives are that as a halfling he has always been an excellent cook, but hen discovered by the local nobles he quickly rose to local fame and his cooking career began. He uses the Wizarding school of Conjuration and his Halfling wit to make the most grandeous and flavorful meals, butt having achieved fame he seeks to seal his legacy and make his mark. His latest venture to do this? A Monster Cook Book! His dream is to adventure through the lands and find which monsters taste the best and write his own cookbook that comprises entirely of the Do's and Don't's of cooking the monsters of the forgotten realms. 1) Character name: Corric Honeybarrel 2) Race/class: (Lightfoot) Halfling / (Conjuration) Wizard 3) Background (custom is ok! Please explain what is unique and why you chose it) Guild Artisan, He is a well known and prestigious member of the cooking and baking society of Neverwinter attempting to solidify his legacy in a new cook book based around monsters. 4) Have you ever played lost mines before? No, but I am familiar with the setting 5) What does this character hate? (can be an action taken by another person, can be a religion or anything recently): Bullies, but he is a benevolent fellow with a chipper attitude and aproaches challenges with optimism  6) What would this character protect at all costs? His Legacy, and his fame. He is absolutely afraid of being forgotten with time and will not allow people to pass over him without notice! 7) What faith does this character follow (if any) and why? My character is not much of a religious person but he might pray to Yondalla the primary goddess of halflings when he's in fear for his life! 8) What is this character's worst fear? Death, specifically being forgotten. If there are no songs to sing, legends to tell, or books to read of Corric did his life have any meaning at all?  9) Does this character consider themselves a:  leader/follower/observer/puzzle solver/lore monger? Definitely a puzzle follower/ follower. He has not experienced much combat or adventure in his life yet. 10) Pick a dungeons and dragons elemental type that suits this character (and explain why) Earth, his specialty is manipulating the vegetables, fruits, spices, and animals to his will into creating foods that have amazed even the most snobby of lords. I'm a 21 year old man from Washington State U.S.A but I'm currently studying abroad in France. I am always looking for games I can play in when I am not studying and would like to join one or two consistent gaming groups that I can fit in my schedule. I am an avid Dungeons and Dragons  Fifth Edition player and amateur Dungeon Master. I am extremely familiar with Fifth Edition especially with player classes / Backgrounds  races / abilities / and spells. I can create a well thought out and interesting character or a fully fleshed out character with a deep backstory for your amazing setting. I enjoy combat, and I love role-play! I strive to be a supportive and collaborative player for my fellow adventurers and my Dungeon Master. If you've read this far please consider allowing me to join your campaign. I'd love nothing more than to join you in creating awesome memories and laughs in this amazing game!  If you have friend for my friend as well, he is a very experienced DM and Player and we have been dying to play a game together rather than DM-ing for eachother. We are both familiar with Discord and Roll 20 and have our own computers, though he is on Pacific Standard Time Zone (West Coast of the United States). I am in the Central European Summer Time Zone (+6 hours from East coast of the USA) but have a flexible schedule, feel free to reply with any questions you have!
