Forgive me if this idea exists in another thread, but does roll20 allow you to create tables in game that can be rolled on?
For example, everyone loves a critical hit. Some game systems have a special table that you roll on when you get one. Of course Roll20 nicely includes dice rolling, but you still have to go out of the Roll20 screen to look up what you rolled on the crit table to see the result and then inform the other players. This interrupts play and can be a large time sink.
What would be nice is if you could define your own tables in the game and then use the in-game dice rolling to roll against that table and have the result (both from the roll and the table lookup) shown in the chat log. For instance, if I roll 1d20 on my critical hit table that I've set up inside my Roll20 campaign and get "20 - 3x damage" or whatever, I'd like the other players to see something like "Player A rolls on Critical Hit Table: 20 - 3x damage" or something like that.
Does Roll20 do this already? Is a plan for this in the works? If not, I'd like to suggest it.
