[DND5E] One Shot

The Great Mouscapade Hello all I am looking for 4-5 players to play through my one shot. This isn't your typical game. Instead of taking control of mighty paladins and wizards you will be assuming the control of a group of bipedal mice. This one shot is an ode to the Secret of NIMH and classic Disney movies as well as having my own spin on things. Things that a normal adventure would pay no attention to are life threatening to a mouse. A cat or a spider web could mean certain death. This is not a power fantasy one shot. You will be very vulnerable to damage. This one shot is tailored to those who are just starting out with Tabletop games and to people who just want to have fun and not take things so seriously all the time. This is a one shot (meaning one time only) The race is obviously pre determined. The class you can choose as long as it's official. You will be level 2. You are playing mice so higher levels just wouldn't make sense. We will be using 27 point buy. The game will be around the three hour mark and will take place Saturday, 24 August 2019 at 7:30:00 pm EDT time. The game will be a mixture of problem solving/roleplay/combat We will be using Discord so a microphone is needed. A small description of the story You play the last of the Tenderpaw clan. A clan that spans generations and sought safety in a mousehold under the bed of a little girls room. However, thanks to mousetraps, poisons, human beings and predators those numbers have dwindled and you are the last Tenderpaws alive. You must escape the house filled with cats, dogs, humans, cannibalistic rats and spiders and must cross the pond filled with it's own dangers to reach sanctuary. A large hollowed out tree lies beyond the pond where the field mice live. There's only one problem: They don't take kindly to house mice so you must steal some cheese in order to bribe them. You know the exterminator will return eventually so it's a race against time to preserve the Tenderpaw name. Application I'm not fussy about applications. Hello! My name is Ethan, I'm a 21 year old man from Washington State U.S.A but I'm currently studying abroad in France. I am always looking for games I can play in when I am not studying and would like to join one or two consistent gaming groups that I can fit in my schedule. I am an avid Dungeons and Dragons  Fifth Edition player and amateur Dungeon Master. I am extremely familiar with Fifth Edition especially with player classes / Backgrounds  races / abilities / and spells. I can create a well thought out and interesting character or a fully fleshed out character with a deep backstory for your amazing setting. I enjoy combat, and I love role-play! I strive to be a supportive and collaborative player for my fellow adventurers and my Dungeon Master. If you've read this far please consider allowing me to join your campaign. I'd love nothing more than to join you in creating awesome memories and laughs in this amazing game!  If you have friend for my friend as well, he is a very experienced DM and Player and we have been dying to play a game together rather than DM-ing for eachother. We are both familiar with Discord and Roll 20 and have our own computers, though he is on Pacific Standard Time Zone (West Coast of the United States). I'll bite, I'm in CDT and I'm sure that I can make it to the oneshot. Bear in mind though that I'm a pretty new player and that my only experience with tabletop comes from a few combat oriented 3.5e homebrew games 5+ years back. If you decide to add me as a player I'll spend the next few days reading up on 5e. I can't say that I'm any good at roleplaying or anything(no real experience) but if there's something I need to learn then I'll put in the legwork.

Yeah well with any luck this one shot should be ideal for newer players Daggot since you'll only be level two. I'll send you some details.
