NPC Critical Hit Question

Hey, I've been playing with roll20 as a DM for 5e D&D for a bit, and I've noticed something odd: NPC's and the attacks I make for them have no immediately obvious area to enter crit damage, and when rolling a crit, deal no additional damage- although the damage that pops up in the chat is accompanied by a + 0, as though it understands that the crit should in theory be dealing more damage, but isn't. I tried, but could find no reasoning for this.  What makes this particularly odd is that NPCs I HAVEN'T made, such as an Earth Elemental dragged from the bestiary, CAN crit properly, despite having no notable differences on the NPC sheet that account for it. I'm not sure what's going on, and I'm very unfamiliar with the concept of macros, so I apologize if this is a problem that seems trivial or stupid. Any help is appreciated!
Yes, you have to manually enter the crit damage in the default macro as it is not in there. That is why the plus 0 is there as a placeholder.
