Token -> Character representation issues

Hi, I just started using roll20, so I hope this is a basic issue or ignorance, but it seems like a bug. I tried setting up the basic campaign "Crows Rest Island" to go through the process while a buddy logged in as a player. I made the assumption that when a token represents a specific character, changes to that token are applied to the character. In my case, I was changing bar one as HPs, and adjusting them on page 7 for character Ronius. When I switch to page 8, I can see that the same token shows the correct representation of current HPs that was adjusted on page 7. However, if I switch to page 1, the token has starting/un-adjusted values. I have verified that the token on all 3 pages are representing the same Ronius character. Is this a bug or something I am doing wrong?
The token with the bar/value that is not updating probably does not have the bar linked to the character sheet.
It is linked, I have verified multiple times.
That adventure doesn't have any of the tokens set up as default tokens in the journal entry you will have to assign them yourself.
You're right, they don't. That doesnt explain why some tokens are carrying over modified data while others are not. Is the default token a requirement for this functionality to work? Like I said, all tokens have the "represent's character" pulldown properly applied.
Ah, i found the problem. Only some tokens had green bar assigned to HP, others did not.
The default token setup for that campaign is particularly bad. You'll need to go in and re-assign tokens for pretty much everything. This will help: Linking Tokens to Journals.

Felts, to expand on what Phnord is saying, when you set up a default token you need to first make sure it is set up properly. The Default Token function creates and stores a copy of the token at the time you set the default. Any changes to the token settings afterwards do not update to that copy. You will have to make the changes and then set it as a default token again.
