Hello Ed G.,
I am sorry to hear that you are missing tokens.
To be able to assist you, can you confirm which tokens are missing and where you should see them at?
Thanks!
Arcturia from DODMM
Dreamwalker giant from Volo
some of the orcs from Volo
Animated Frost staff from DODMM
Also Vegepygmy token AND NPC sheet from Volo
thats for now
I'm seeing tokens for those. Can you try importing the character into a brand new game? Or delete all copies from your game and re-import it.
For ones that are in a module, you can transmogrify them in from a duplicate game and they should overwrite your local copies.
So in a new game I get the dreamwalker fine and now I get the dreamwalker with no stats on my "nomral" game.
Should I delete it and start a new game?
Also, how do I export maps? and what is transmogrify?
The Transmogrifier is one of the perks of your membership level. You’ll find it on the settings tab in your game, near the bottom. It allows you to transfer pages, characters decks and more from game to game, so long as you are the creator. If the game lists don’t populate immediately, just cancel and press the button again; it can be quirky.
What you’re likely running into is what happens when you make a change (by accident or on purpose) to an asset in the game that somehow affects the default token. Dragging in a new one won’t help because Roll0 thinks you did it on purpose and won’t overwrite. The Transmogrifier overwrites by intention though and will replace an otherwise identical asset with the fresh one.
if you haven’t done any work in the game, it might be simplest to create a new one, otherwise, use the Transmogrifier.
You can also use it to copy maps as pages, but if you want to export a map you have built in Roll20 to your hard drive, the only real option is screen shots.
My advice would be to copy characters first. I haven't done rigorous testing, but if you copy a page that has tokens on them, the tokens and their settings transfer, but not associated characters. It might be that they will "re-link" if you transfer the characters afterward, but I know they will if you transfer the characters first.
