I'm an experienced player stuck as the eternal PermaDM in my live game. I need to play, I'm desperate, please let me join your group.
Would you be interested in a Hunter: The Reckoning game on Saturday evenings bi-weekly? https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/122824/hunter-afterlife
It's been a long time since I cracked a Hunter book. when would the first game happen?
It's an ongoing game. We're looking to replace a character who had to leave. The next upcoming game would be not this Saturday but the one after.
Like I said, its been at least a decade since I've read Hunter. I'll have to do some research and see if I can find a pdf. May I ask a few questions, What is your setting, timeline, what is this groups goal and such? What kind of character would i need to play or am I free to go nuts, lol.
Hey Daniel, the GM's character guidelines are stuff are on the application page I linked. The setting is modern day, mainly US but we've ventured across the globe. Slight alternate history (Schwarzenegger become President) but nothing too major. In Hunter, you play as an awakened human who's come to realize there are nasty things that go bump in the night. Our job is to hunt them down and redeem or destroy them, basically. As far as what kind of character, you are pretty much free to come up with any typical human background. Your character would basically just need to be 18+ and have a sane background. The GM isn't looking for characters who are ex-special op terrorist hunting assassins, for example. Police officer, sure. But you're supposed to be a pretty average human. He can help you make your actual character sheet and pick your skills, etc. if your background works.
