Ratings for DMs

So, it's hard to find a game on roll20 that you mesh with. Some DMs just aren't what you are looking forA rating system for DMs should resolve some of this. Or at least a comment section on how they DM. Yes, this can lead to manipulation of the system, either flooding it with negative reviews, or positive reviews. This could be resolved by only allowing people who have played on the DMs game for a certain amount of time may leave a comment. I've started a discussion about this on reddit and several people agree it would be helpful. People shouldn't pay for a game they don't enjoy, and information is always more helpful. https://www.reddit.com/r/DnD/comments/cz7fho/ratings_for_dms_on_roll20/

Allowing people to ascribe a rating to other people is not something The Powers That Be really want on Roll20, even though I understand why it would be useful to weed out toxicity in peer-driven games like tabletop. This type of feature can and has been very easily abused before. On toxic users though, that is why our dev and mod team is here. They absolutely want to weed out toxic users and abusive users but rating is not the way to do that. Reporting toxic behavior is. Please report any users that violate the code of conduct and if you don't see a report button on the relevant interaction, please email the Devs at team@roll20.net
Hello Ace, The information that Gen Kitty has provided is correct. The devs do not foresee this feature being on their radar for a long time, at least until they can figure out the ethical implications of it. I hope you understand this firm stance. As such, I am going to close this post. Thanks!
