LFG: Original D&D or AD&D? Would love to play the old stuff.

1. On Tuesdays, my husband and kids are out of the house until almost 7 pm PST, so in an ideal world I could find a regular Tuesday afternoon game. Like 3:00 - 7:00 PST (6:00 - 10:00 EST).  2. I have no problem paying for a great game experience. If you're a DM who'd be interesting in running a long term campaign, maybe we could recruit more players together? 3. I'm old-school and honestly hate that you start as a demi-god in new editions. I like starting small and building a character/party history over time and shared experiences. I like old-fashioned dungeon crawls and monster killing. However, it seems like 5e is the most popular on Roll20 and the DM and story are more important than the specific edition. I like when a DM is flexible with my harebrained ideas instead of going by the book and saying "there is no rule to allow for you to attempt that." A good DM would never tell me that I couldn't try some idea. Let me try it and then tell me I fail in a spectacular fashion if that's what you need to keep the story on track.   4. I'm not really into hours of talking in character. I'm not good at that level of improv. I've played in games where we spent entire sessions on the political intrigue of the realm and I wanted to die. Don't get me wrong, some of that stuff is important for world building. I get that it's necessary. It's just not my favorite part of role-playing.  5. Started out playing "red-box" D&D with my babysitter. Played AD&D throughout middle and high school. Drifted away from regular play once career and children came.  6. Played in a campaign for about a year on Roll20 before life got in the way. Struggled to find a consistent group. I'm back to try again. 7. I'm a typical Gen-X nerd, mom of 3, accountant by trade, and cake enthusiast. 8. I don't know what kind of character I want to play until I hear what the party is going to be. I tend to be the one who will pick based on what is missing. Do we need more muscle? Nobody wants to be the cleric? That will be me, and I'll come up with a good back-ground and motivation from there.

Hi there. I posted a LFG down below talking about AD&D or BECMI (among others), not sure if you saw it. I am GMT though so I am not sure how that translates into your timezone.
