While it isn't automatic, you can easily go into the options of magic missile on your sheet and turn "Include Spell Description in Attack" from off to on. Then, in the "At Higher Levels" text field, you can add something like this: Extra missile damage: [[1d4+1]], [[1d4+1]], [[1d4+1]], [[1d4+1]] Add as many of the missile calculations as you need to get to the max number of missiles you could create with one cast. Then, when you use the spell, you use the main damage roll as your first missile and then go down the line in the description taking missiles in order for however many you need. So, if you use a 1st level slot, you just take the main template damage roll. If you used a 3rd level slot, you would take that roll and the first 2 rolled from the rolls added to the text field above. It would look like this in chat: This is definitely a workaround, but doing automatic damage for any ability that does damage in anything but a lump sum is not easy to automate. I expect that is why they never tried to automate it in 5E or in Pathfinder 1 where it scales according to caster level.
