Closed for now, thanks for the interest everyone. Hi all. We're about midway through Dragon Heist, which will likely transition to Dungeon of the Mad Mage or Storm King's Thunder (depends on what the group wants to do). We're looking for 1, maybe 2 players. We play every Sunday at 5PM, EST, games usually run 3-4 hours. A little about our group and me as a DM... I like a good mix of roleplaying and combat; we might go a whole session without combat (although there will likely be more combat once we start DotMM or SKT). The group definitely likes to role-play and talk. We have a barbarian, 2 clerics, a rogue, and a warlock (BUT PLEASE play what you want, even a 3rd cleric, if that's what you want to play). Four of the players have been with the game since the beginning, but we've had several others come and go (some because they just wanted to kill things and maybe we talk [in character] too much[?], some because they couldn't make half of the sessions). We want players that can make most sessions at least, like 3 out of the month. That said, we understand that life can get in the way, and that's no big deal if you communicate with me and let me know in advance if you have to miss. We've had a few players just not show up and not say anything at all, which is why I mention communication. We have a pretty friendly group that is good about engaging new members, so new players are 100% welcome, I love getting new players and more people into D&D. I'd like a little backstory, but that can be as short or as long as you want. Some players sent me a few pages, some players sent me a few paragraphs, whatever works for you. I'll try to incorporate your story into the game, and I'm always open to suggestions for ways to do that. While some tension and drama between players can be great, I don't really love PVP unless both players are up for it, and even then, I don't necessarily encourage it. Drama: good; killing each other: bad. Feel free to ask any questions or message me if you seem interested, I can let you in the group to read our session summaries and see if you're still interested.
