5e ogl Warlock spell tracking/automation issues.

hi guys can i have some help im running a hexblade warlock of which ive managed a work around for a global crit mod/global proficiency damage mod to help fit the character damage. see this thread: <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/7751284/5e-ogl-character-sheet-hexblades-curse-issues" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/7751284/5e-ogl-character-sheet-hexblades-curse-issues</a> but now i have the issue of spell slots. as ive learnt that spell slots for a warlock get used in an odd way. for example. you use a lvl 1 spell but you have to cast it at max lvl regardless of what you use. is there anyway to automate the damage increases and track the spell slots and make them talk to each other? and by that i mean if i do the spell eldritch smite and im lvl 5 so i have lvl 3 spell circle i have to cast it at lvl 3 so i need to automate the the extra damage dealt and i have no spell tracking so i need a fix for that. also when i level up and get a new spell circle of lvl 4. how do i automate it to have the new value of casting at lvl 4 for all spells? surely this needs to be added to the character sheet as a fix? it seems that there definatley needs extra support for the warlock class because at every turn i have to do some custom tweaking to make it work more efficiently.

Something to keep in mind is that the 5E sheet by Roll 20 is already over 400 pages of html code and over 90 pages of css.&nbsp; This is going by what it would take to print, because I don't intend to download it to see how many lines of code it is.&nbsp; I am not familiar enough with 5E to help with the calculations, but I'm sure someone will have some pointers for you.&nbsp; I just wanted to point out that this sheet is already extremely complicated and automating some things just isn't always worth the dev time it would take to make it happen. I expect the community already has a workaround though. For good or ill, many tabletop rpg mechanics are not really set up in a way to make them easy to formulate within the structure of Roll20.
doesnt mean we should stop trying. :) im looking for ways to imrpove things. and this is a must have to play warlocks.&nbsp;

If a spell can be cast at higher levels, it will ask you what level to cast it at. Just choose your casting level. As for keeping track of spell slots, you'll need to track that manually. I would suggest using one of your resource tracking slots set to "Warlock Spells". For invocations, just cast them as normal. If you can cast them at will, click the box for "ritual". Otherwise, either turn off spell tracking for that character or ignore the warnings. Warlocks are an exception to every other spell casting class, and they haven't gotten a lot of devotion to them. That means a little more manual work, unfortunately. Kraynic is very correct in his summation of the nature of the 5e by Roll20 sheet. Not only is it extremely complex, it was developed by a succession of developers, and each has left their own mark upon the workings. You could try the Shaped Sheet, which is much more powerful in most regards, but also more complex and updated less often. The biggest drawback would be lack of charactermancer support.
