Placing a perfectly sized map without resizing

Sorry if this question has been asked a hundred times, half an hour of searching hasn't gotten me an answer. When I create an map/image with a grid at 70px per square, and I have "Maps, Tiles and Textures" selected in the art library, and I hold "alt" while dragging the image to the VTT, it imports as a tiny image. Is there a way to have it import at full size, so I don't need to scale it? Note: I tried uploading a 700x700 image and a 1400x1400 image, and both drop onto the VTT as the same size (just under 3 squares with cell width = 1 x 70 px)

Currently, there is no way of telling the intent of the piece: the intended resolution. Some artists like to work in a higher resolution to give better results when zooming in. Some produce pixel art that is best viewed at 100% (70 pixels per unit). Some pieces are "found art" and can be anything . Currently there is a massive undertaking in the Marketplace that will allow providers to tag their art for the intended unit size. Hopefully it will not be long before you can drag a (Marketplace) piece to the tabletop and it will come in at the proper size. For now, the Roll20 engine has no idea about the intent and makes a best guess: 1x1 units on the token layer, 3x3 units on the map layer (a common tile size). More information on this thread .
