Adding boardgames to roll20 - Descent journey in the dark

Hi, I'm thinking about playing this in roll20 with my friends. Does anybody have any advice, or maybe some good APIs to add, for playing a board game in roll20? I'm not looking for material. I already asked for that dumbly without even thinking that it would be a copyright infringement. Just looking for gms that have added boardgames before and their experience

One piece of advice: Set up the board game in pristine condition in a Game you never invite anyone to. When you want to play, create a copy of it to play in.
