Just joined roll20.net after years of using OSU Gametable and Hammachi and skype campaigns. Though I still use Skype to host the voice chat (as roll20.net's voice chat doesn't always work for all of my players or myself), the rest of the package is super solid and have had very few issues with bugs (besides one player complaining that he couldn't erase what he drew on the table to represent his powers. The Year is 2028, the setting is a futuristic New York City. The campaign is a mashup of elements from Ultimate Spiderman (the comic by Brian Michael Bendis) and Young Justice . The focus is on a group of teenagers that got exposed to what is believed to be the Higgs Boson during a class project involving an Advanced Super Collider... however, (and I borrow from the theory of Quantum Non-locality here) when exposed to the particle, our heroes to be, have their thoughts and fears realized into pure tangible reality, granting them super powers. The effects of the accident caused by the Collider are wide spread, and could spread for miles. So possibilities are endless. Super Heroes, or super-humans in general are brand new in this world. Now, we're two sessions in, and my two main PCs (the two guys I regularly game with) have entered their first Super Hero battle. But, I'm thinking it might be cool to shake things up with additional players, one or two at max, though. My players have only gained about 3 power points and are still Power Level 10. Any takers?
