Change webcam default settings

Is there a way to disable the webcam by default in all my games? I would prefer if the default option when joining a new game was not to have my video broadcasted and want to customize that before I enter a new game.

I don't think this is currently possible. It's set up by the creator of the game. I'd like that ability too. There was a suggestion to that effect but it timed out before it gathered enough votes. I think it's a valuable suggestion though, and encourage you and others to send a vote here .  This thread itself will likely be closed since it is a suggestion in a non-suggestion forum. Depending on how long you have been a member and where you might have voted before, you might not have a vote available, but you can join in the discussion.

Hello Daniel R.,  While this is not currently a feature of Roll20, you are able to control the usage of a Microphone and Camera through your browser. You can view your current Microphone and Camera settings on both, Chrome and Firefox, by clicking on the Lock/Information button, respectively, in the address bar directly to the left of the web address. In Chrome, you can set it to ask for permission every time. While in Firefox, it will ask each time, unless you have ever selected to "Remember this decision". If you have ever selected to "Remember this decision", you will need to remove that decision from Firefox's Microphone settings.
