Missing Game Posts

I posted a game that starts Monday. I saw a couple of message notifications, clicked on the little mail icon in the upper right. There were two people who wanted to join, but when I clicked away from the messages, they disappeared, and I cannot find them or the names of the the people who wanted to join. Any help? When someone makes a post, you as the game creator gets the notification but that notifications is not removed when they delete their post. This is probably what happened.
