Hints, Tips, and Guidance Sub Forums and Topics

So, I'm a new user to Roll20.  Most of the Topics and post within the forums contain ideas for various levels of membership, and I'm finding it difficult to separate at what level it would most beneficial. If post could be separated into sub threads for free, pro,  and plus membership, it would allow users such as myself to find material quicker and easier. It may also encourage users like myself to consider upgrading membership. Hopefully some consideration on this is given, and will look forward to responses.

API Scripter
It seems like a reasonable suggestion, but it's not really possible to divide the forums that way, nor is it actually a good idea (even though it does look like one). Say someone asks for help with a macro. We give suggestions on answers, and notice they have a Pro badge next to their name. So we can give answers which involve API features, as well as basic macros. This is actually helpful to people like you who might consider upgrading: the answers will tell you what you can do at each level. If there were three forums, someone would have to know ahead of time which forum can answer their question, before asking. That often just isn't possible. When you dont know how to do something, you aren't likely to know which forum to ask in, and asking in one to be redirected to a different forum is just frustrating for everyone, and leads to duplication that helps no-one.
Most of what I have found and read, usually ends up with pro's just adding in features that free members just don't have access to. I have just started using Roll20. While scratching around looking for games to gain experience in, I'm also trying to learn what I can and can not do DM/GM wise with regards to templates, macros, and etc, etc that the limited ability my free membership grants. I find it confusing, and taxing to have to shift through all the material, just to end up forgetting what it was I started looking/work on.  Just really looking to see if there was some way to streamline most of the material, so that it's less digging and more productive. As for upgrading, at this rate, it will be quite awhile be that is even considered.
There already is a dedicated pro-forum and a dedicated api-script forum. What more labels would you suggest?
Well as a free member i'm not going to spend good money till i've run the system to it's fullest in basic mode. A little less clustering and a bit more grouping of the material so free members like myself can somewhat find what we are looking for, like tips and tricks only members with free access can use and implement. For example, where can i find a macro ( and it's relative coding, that allows a player { with no PHB }) to roll for stats just as the Mancer does in the template style it uses? Chat Menus, How would someone such as myself even begin to construct one, let alone populate it with the buttons ( or better yet the link type interface in a few of the post i've read ), with my free access membership? { I've had a hard time trying to even find a basic build of one } And this is just the tip of the iceberg. I just get the sense that free members are pushed into having to pay to get any real use out of the service, and this site would grow if just a little more effort was given to help free members expand their knowledge of the basic system, and the abilities of that system. Then, those that would want more to work with, might be willing to upgrade, and gain more knowledge.

This thread has a lot of hints on how to improve using the platform (including chat menus):  Stupid Roll20 Tricks (and some clever ones) Wiki is also full of useful information about chat, rolls, templates, character sheets...
Hello Maxwell L., For your suggestions, we offer the  Suggestions & Ideas  forum, which is based on voting from the whole community. Please review our  Forum Voting  wiki page for more information on how voting works, and our  Posting to Suggestions & Ideas  section of the  Code of Conduct . As this is a suggestion thread outside the designated forum, this thread will be closed. Thanks!
