Hello all!
I've been in a bit of a roleplaying hiatus for a while, and I seek to rectify it! The name's Kasper, I'm a 28 y/o dude from Denmark looking for players for a campaign I'm planning to set up late Tuesdays from about 9 pm CEST, using the second edition of Pathfinder.
The premise of the game: You have all recently boarded the ship known as Ellen's Origin, which is bound for a newly discovery patch of land. You are part of an expedition sanctioned by and paid for by the noble house of Donvoy. You are not the first to go, and awaiting you will be the slowly growing outpost of Dacan's Foothold. Whatever brought you on this adventure, you will surely influence the future of the fledgling colony. - and those young souls who will follow in your footsteps...
As you would know from the premise, you're going to uncharted land, so there will be exploration, likely combat, but also room for roleplaying, as your actions will influence the future of Dacan's Foothold and the surrounding territories. The game will work a little differently than most might be used to, with certain "time skips" leading to a new generation, granted that the colony survives.
During these generation shifts, which will happen at certain story points, each player will be asked to create a new character, who is in some way, shape or form connected to another player's character from the last bit of the story. This could be a direct descendant, someone who has studied the character extensively or whatever the story might allow. This means you won't have the same character from levels 1-20, but rather play different characters at level intervals (which may or may not overlap slightly)
There will be some homerules:
- All races have similar lifespans to humans, except for the goblin which retains its shorter lifespan.
- Alignment doesn't matter, so don't bother with it.
I will be looking for players interested in character development and storytelling, new and old. A love for character creation will probably be a plus ;P Please either write here or PM me a bit about yourself so I can get a feel for who you are :)
