DM looking for 2-3 people for D&D5E game planned to start mid October.

Title pretty much says it all. Now for a little about me and what I'm looking for. I tend to value player freedom over railroading down a set path or story, if you are watching Critical Role(which I am also a fan of), and expect an epic tale like that, don't bother I know I'm not an experienced enough storyteller to deliver. If you're fine with me stumbling through making a voice and keeping it consistent, keep reading. My friends and I have a very broad view at what's funny, so if there are topics that you feel aren't funny you should apply at your own risk. Not saying we'll be making jokes that offend groups of people all the time, but it might happen randomly. But having said that, if you're a person who is constantly saying offensive things, and using the "it's just a joke" excuse you also won't last long. That's really the most important points about me, and people i look for. As far as character creation and game goes, It'll be high magic, homebrew with added elements that I'll explain later. All source books are available, UA stuff will have to be run by me first though. As for backgrounds if you're parents died in the first paragraph I'll probably stop reading and move on. Also it's fine to have a troubled past, but if you're always going to be brooding, it's not what I'm looking for. Also no evil characters, at least not to start, if the game progresses in a direction where you might be turned evil then it's fine. Lastly just remember to celebrate your accomplishments and laugh at your mistakes. If you can't think of what to write use this as a template.
