[LFP][PbP][Shadowrun5e][18+][StreetScum][RoleplayHeavy] SINs of the Mother

System: Shadowrun 5e Format: PbP ( Discord mainly but there is a Roll20 group for when more tactical stuff is needed. ) Maturity:  18+ Shadowrun is dripping with violence, sexuality, drugs, ( mostly fantastical ) racism, brutal dystopian themes. Etc. etc.  Players: Need about 5 Contact PM over Discord Materials:  Shadowrun 5e Core Rulebook at minimum and a good working knowledge of the system. Character Creation Info: This game uses modified Street Scum rules. That means normal Priority table, up to 12F Availability on equipment. Normal limitations on Drawbacks and positive traits, etc. etc. But  instead of normal priority ratings we will use BCCDE. With Magic/Resoanance capped at C. This is to give a more " Street " feel to the game. Most metavariants allowed,  SURGE is fine, Shapeshifters are fine, I'm hesitant to allow A.I. but I could probably be talked into it ditto for Drakes.  Want to avoid more exotic Metatypes like centaurs, sasquatch, nagas, etc. Definitely no Undead.  NOTE:  The basis of this game is all about roleplay and characters. If you want a stable of shadowrunners to swap out between missions, want to play a crazed sociopath, hooded figure who sits in the dark corner of the room saying nothing until combat starts, or generally just want to be a non-participant or be disruptive this isn't the game for you. I'm looking for people who are excited by the prospect of interacting as a team and feeling like they are a part of the world and enacting positive change. TONE:  The game is gonna be largely inspired by the new Cyberpunk 2077.  It's less about a team of elite black ops specialists and more about some cybered up mercs looking to try and shake things up in the world.  Think more Ghost in the Shell, less Robocop. My GMing style is very narrative focused, I'm not the sort to check in the spellbook or download 30 year old sourcebooks or check to see exactly what megacorps have an arcology in what cities or other things of that nature,  If I feel a NPC should reasonably have a certain ability or spell I kinda just make it up on the spot, if I want to do a run in an EVO Arcology then they have one there to do a run in.  So this game is also probably not great for people who are really picky about the lore of shadowrun.  Intro:  Late night news trid-feed shows a blown out college dorm, apparently some go-gangers tried to do an extraction job on some exec's kid.  Things went nasty and lot of people got geeked.  But something in your runner bones tells you there's more to this, that's when you get the call from your Fixer.  Something is up,  he's just got a cool million rammed into his bank account and a note that your team specifically is being hired for the job.  Apparently the way the note was worded implied this wasn't a " request " this could be big.  And you've been waiting a damn long time to make it big. Time for some Shadowrunning.
i am sad but i always wanted to try a shadowrun but i never played the system before
