Hello. I'm GMing a Treasure Hunt campaign set in the homebrew fictional world of Atela, which features 1930ish level of technology alongside spells and fantasy creatures. The party has now recovered enough clues to finally begin puzzling them together as they search for a long forgotten treasure. They'll however have to contend with mercenaries, bandits and spies who are also after the treasure. Expect ancient ruins filled with traps and angry spiders, jungles in which velociraptors lurk and hunt, tense brawls aboard a moving train, wild car chases down a steep hillside town... Some of these things have already happened, others may still happen in the future (depending on player actions). We are currently looking for a book-friendly character. Can be an academic, but doesn't really need to. All that matter is that whatever the character will be, is one who enjoys reading fiction novels and/or studying in the fields of history and archaeology. If you're interested, please message me with a character concept. We will then build the character proper from that. Thank you. NOTE: This is an ongoing campaign and we play every Sunday afternoon (European Time). The game is run text chat with the aid of Roll20's map and tokens. System used is Savage Worlds. I tend to keep things rule-light and focus more on the narrative, but there's still a fair balance between combat, puzzles and social roleplay.
