Hey, folks. Due to some scheduling changes, our long running group is about to start a new Burning Wheel campaign, and we have room for a new player, maybe two. I'm the GM and we currently have 4 players. We use Roll20 for the table and Discord for voice chat. We ask that you can commit to the schedule (Weekly, Tuesdays at 8:30PM for 4 hours) and that your hope in joining us is to find a long term game that you'll be a part of for the foreseeable future. We try to adapt to changing schedules over the long term, but our goal is to have a fixed weekly game. We're new to playing Burning Wheel, but we've played a number of systems together over the last 4 years, and I (the GM) have been obsessed with Burning Wheel for awhile now. We welcome players of any experience level. New players should be eager to learn, and veterans shouldn't mistake experience for authority. Everyone has a voice at our "table." Also, we believe the rules exist to serve us, not the other way around. We're willing to tweak and be creative with the rules, but we won't change or add anything lightly or frivolously. As above, everyone at the table has a voice in this. Just know that if you feel there is only one right way to play Burning Wheel, our group might not be what you are looking for. If that sounds cool to you, let me know and we'll chat. Our plan is to play some one-shots (or two-shots if it feels right) to focus on specific stuff while we look for someone(s) to join us.. First up, tomorrow, is a bunch of arguing dwarves to play with Duel of Wits. Once we have our group finalized, we'll work together to build a new, long term campaign.
