WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are two brothers interested in starting a bi-weekly story-based star wars game! We are seeking 1-2 interested players to join in a Sunday Game Pacific Standard Time. OUR PLAYSTYLE The two of us are avid RPG fans of many different systems and prefer a storyteller approach to games with less "kick in the door shenanigans" and murder hobo-ism. We hope to find a group of players with the same interests. WHICH CORESET? Depending on the era of play, I will allow certain lines of FFG's Star Wars to be used. However, I will only allow the group to create characters from a SINGLE line once we have collectively decided the era. In order to keep the game focused I would like the group during a session 0 to determine a close-knit makeup for their characters: for example a fighter squadron, a cadre of guerrilla fighters, a band of smugglers, a mercenary unit, a tank brigade, an ambassadorial entourage, a spy cell, etc. ERA OF PLAY We are interested in playing in the following eras, and would use a majority vote to determine which era the entire group is interested in setting the campaign within. Depending on the era of play, I will only allow specific Core Sets due to the circumstances of the timeline. The Old Republic Era (SWTOR MMO): FaD, EotE, AoR Rise of the Separatists Source Book (Early Clone Wars): FaD, EotE, AoR Fall of the Republic Source Book (Late Clone Wars): FaD, EotE, AoR Dawn of Rebellion Source Book (Rebels Show): FaD, EotE, AoR Original Trilogy after the destruction of the Death Star: EotE or AoR After the immediate destruction of the 2nd Death Star: EotE or AoR WHAT WE EXPECT Be on time Pay attention Work with the group Be prepared Respect everyone Let others play their characters Be amiable Communicate Don't talk over others Speak up Keep it PG-13 Respect everyone. Please treat everyone the way you would want to be treated. I especially will not allow racist, sexist, homophobic, or any other type of hate speech in my games. We're all here to have fun so let's keep it that way. To be clear on this it might be okay for your character to hold some of those beliefs. An elf who hates humans or vice versa is a pretty standard trope in fantasy right? At the same time this game isn't a place for you to vicariously live out hating on certain groups of people, or making others uncomfortable. Please try to always be respectful of everyone at the table, and if you do decide to play a character who holds some of those beliefs be prepared to tone it down if you are asked to.
