[LFP][5E] Looking for 4 players Wednesday 7pm cst

Hello! I'm currently searching for four players for a Ravnica campaign setting. I'm a relatively new Dm but an experienced player to 5e looking to run this campaign for some people before trying it out with a group of friends face to face. The campaign will start at level 3 and will be sandbox style with much of the content being directly related to the characters and their decisions. All published races and classes are fine(no aarakocra) and UA will just need to be ran past me. We will be using roll20 for maps and discord for audio. Name: Brendan Age:21 DnD experience(Not required): Watched a ton of critical role and Highrollers, pretty familiar with DnD beyond, have subbed in for players absent from my brother's games in the past. Not very experienced, but I have the basics down. Ravnica Experience(Not required): Absolutely None, which makes it exciting to potentially get started. What do you enjoy most about dnd: The adventure and role playing combined with the Incredible weight of decisions made by each character in these games. Likes/Dislikes/Interests: Strategy, role playing games. I don't like when someone tries to play as an evil character with no justifiable reason, and uses it as an excuse to try and harm the other party members. I do, however, like characters who may play as evil, but for specific reasons and never to the direct detriment of the group. Character Idea(Note this is just a rough outline character creation will be done at session 0): A sorcerer main, multiclassed into paladin. Human character with a haunted one background. Name: Just call me Kodomo Age: 19 DnD experience(Not required): I've been a GM for around two years, though I mostly infrequent run one-shots for D&D nowadays. I mainly run Mutants and Masterminds and other TRPG systems. I don't really play games, as I'm the only DM in my real life friend group, so I'm excited to be a player again.  Ravnica Experience(Not required): I have absolutely none!  What do you enjoy most about dnd: I love roleplay! I'm a very active roleplayer and tend to really get into my characters. I also love exploring the world and it's lore.  Likes/Dislikes/Interests: I enjoy RPGs, whether they be tabletop or in video game form. I'm very into roleplay and coming up with creative ways to handle problems. I don't like people who play evil for the sake of being a jerk to the party (even though LE is my personal favorite alignment). I hate being railroaded and having my agency as a player being taken away completely. Some of my interests are art and game design.  Character Idea: I'm thinking maybe a Tiefling Bard who lived their early life on the streets, but bounced back to make a life and name for themselves in the world. Name: Aarani Age: 29 DnD Experience: 5 years, mostly as a GM.&nbsp; Ravnica Experience: Never played a trpg in Ravnica, my knowledge is mostly from playing MTG and from skimming the books for things to apply to other 5e games.&nbsp; What do you enjoy most about dnd: I enjoy the combined storytelling of tabletops the most. I like games that, though not necessarily built around the characters, is heavily influenced by them. Weaving backstories into the main plot and discovering things about your characters, both yours and others, having them grow and change as the story progresses, and sharing that experience. Combat can be fun but I am comfortable passing many sessions without it if it so happens to work out that way.&nbsp; Likes/Dislikes/Interests: Character interaction/growth and story is my main interest. Smart combat and thoughtful strategies and groups are fullfilling to me. Playing as a group (even if the characters dont always agree) is important to me. I dont tolerate bigotry of any kind at tables I play at, so respect and decency is a must. Fine with r18 themes, though sexual things I believe are always better as fade to black and stuff like rape and sexual assualt are just not needed. Character Idea: I usually like to get a handle on group dynamics and then write a character. Name: Andrew Thomas Age: Twenty Five DnD experience(Not required): I've played for fifteen years total and I've been a DM for the last four years! Ravnica Experience(Not required): I have the guild Masters guide to Ravnica but I have never played in the world setting! What do you enjoy most about dnd: I really love a rich story and the roleplay side of DnD! I like to come up with character voices and interesting backstory with a focus on character development. I also really enjoy rolling dice!&nbsp; Likes/Dislikes/Interests: I like roleplaying games, adventure, puzzles, strategy, tactics, voice acting, and my family! I don't have a whole lot of dislikes as I'm willing to try most things! As I think of some I will edit the post! Character Idea: The vague idea is my character is a family man (wonder where that came from!) But he was never any good at any typical trades. Regardless he slaved day after day doing whatever odd job to provide for his family. One day a goblin band raided the village they lived in and my character decided to take up arms to protect his family. There he leaned he had a knack for killing monsters and took up the adventuring life to provide for his family. He moved them somewhere safer with his reward money and set out on adventures. While he's away he sends back gold and letters of his adventures. Returning home as often as possible. I was thinking human fighter but I'm not entirely for sure! Questions/Comments/Concerns: I am a father and husband. So weekend would be hard for me to attend games as it's the only time I have with my wife and daughter. ( We both work third shift).
